Integrity Asia uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support internal productivity and quality improvement, while maintaining strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
We apply the following principles:
- Confidentiality and data minimization: We do not input client-confidential information, whistleblowing case details, investigation evidence, or personal identifiers (e.g., ID numbers, contact details, dates of birth) into public AI tools. Where AI is used, information is minimized and, where appropriate, anonymized.
- Human oversight is mandatory: AI outputs are treated as draft support only. A qualified Integrity team member reviews, validates, and remains fully accountable for any work product or client-facing content.
- Verification before reliance: AI may be incomplete or inaccurate and may not reflect the full context of a case. Our team performs a thorough assessment against trusted sources before using any AI-assisted output.
- Security and governance: We use approved tools and apply internal controls to reduce risk and prevent unauthorized disclosure.
This statement summarizes our approach; our internal AI policy provides detailed rules, controls, and escalation procedures for employees and contractors.
